Anxiety Relief
Assurance
For the assessment part of this section, you will complete a questionnaire developed by Professor Sir David Goldberg at the Institute of Psychiatry in London known as the 'Short-Scales'.
The Short Scales tool was developed from extensive research into the relationship between symptoms and diagnoses of mental health illnesses.

The Anxiety Relief programme will then take you through a number of steps which will talk you through the triggers and potential reasons behind anxiety and how to recognise and identify the elements in your behaviour or thought patterns which may be impacting on your mental wellbeing. The programme will then guide you through CBT based techniques for how to cope and manage your symptoms now, but also for rectifying destructive patterns to help you in the future.
The anxiety and depression personal programme sections of the Relief Series are based on the core components of the computerised CBT programme, Beating the Blues®, which has been shown to be clinically effective in reducing anxiety and depression.

The Relief programmes offer you and your loved ones immediate access to self-help solutions based on proven CBT techniques for common mental health problems in the privacy of your own home, and could also promote better long term mental health by teaching you the skills you need to cope, manage and deal with stressful situations now and in the future.
